Thanks. That’s what I heard about the Zeiss and that the 50mm is extremely sharp, which is why I decided to get that lens. I am trying to stay away from Canon, not because I think their lenses aren’t worth it (I love their lenses) but because I don’t want to be stuck in an EOS market. Their lenses don’t have manual aperture and can only be controlled through the camera as you know. When I decided to upgrade my camera I don’t want to be stuck choosing between only the cameras that can electronically control the EOS lenses. That is why I am looking at Nikon as well and using convertors. I tried a 60mm Nikon with the converter and it worked great on my 60D. Cameras like the RED have EF mounts but many don’t and I don’t want to narrow my options when I feel like its time to upgrade.
