Just ordered my Zeiss 50mm and battery grip. Thy should be here just in time for my next corporate video Tuesday. Now once the paypal money clears I will order the Nikon 20mm.
I get really excited about this kind of stuff. I know, I have no life. But I am ok with that.

Also, I hear that next week it is very likely that Canon will be introducing a new DSLR, probably a 5D MKIII or 5DX.
Also also, I hear that Magic Lantern say that they are working on a way that they could possibly get CLEAN HDMI from current Canon DSLR’s! IF that’s the case I will just get an Atmos Ninja...

living-grain asked: The Canon 85 1.2 is pretty great. its probably my favorite lens to use but the focus is controlled by a motor even if it is in manual focus so it might create to much noise for video. So the zeiss may work out better for you. Ive rented it before and the manual focus ring is worth the cost alone. It is very smooth and precise.

So the night ended well with my Ebay sales. Once the payments clean and I can move them into my bank account I will be ordering a Zeiss 50mm and a Nikon 20mm lens to start off my prime set. After that I need to decide which 35mm and 85mm primes I will be getting.
Anyone have any suggestions?
